Originally from New Jersey, I grew up in Union City, a small town located on the west side of the Hudson River, overlooking the skyline of Manhattan. I studied fine arts at Jersey City State College. My first job was building stage scenery for TV, film and theatre. I moved to Westfield, North Carolina and worked on a horse farm.Then 10 years ago I bought a home in Floyd, Virginia and began baking desserts at gourmet restaurants.
